Our in-house swimming lessons for children adopt a systematic approach for teaching beginners, intermediate and advance students. Teaching is tailored to individual learning level. Private Swimming Lessons Promotion, all private classes in Singapore register with us, or arrange by us would entitle to 5% discount for the first month fee.

SwimSafer (MOE) syllabus

We conduct swimming lessons in Singapore based on Ministry Of Education recognized SwimSafer programme for all our students enrolled.

The SwimSafer 2.0 program is a nationally recognised program that aims to teach swimming proficiency and water survival skills to children while minimising drowning incidences. There are six stages in the program.  The six-stage program includes survival and activity skills taught at each stage of the program, and work progressively towards the next stage. Upon completion of each stages, each child will receive a stage completion e-certificate.

In summary, we organize and conduct the SwimSafer assessment at least twice per year for selected students.

Finally, we are pleased to announce that our students achieved a 100% passing rate for SwimSafer test conducted till date.

SWIMBEST SWIM SCHOOL GROUP CLASS POLICY AT BUKIT BATOK SWIMMING COMPLEX

  • Lessons are fixed for every week inclusive the fifth week of the month unless advise differently by coaches.
  • The School reserves the right to send a relief instructor in the event if the principal instructor is unavailable to conduct the lessons.
  • The School reserves the right to cancel the lessons in unforeseen situation or when a relief coach is unavailable.
  • Students are required to wear proper swimming attire, bring kicking board and swimming goggle for lessons.
  • The School will try to ensure every student in the class progresses at the same stage. Thus we would re-allocate student to a more suitable class at any point of time.
  • The School may decide to merge classes should the existing class size fall below 4 students.
  • Students will be invited to participate in SwimSafer 2.0 assessment whenever his/her instructor deem ready. (Charges apply). Only applicable for kids swimming lessons.
  • The School reserves the right to cancel or postpone the start date of new class in the event if the class size does not meet the minimum student requirement.

Important Messages To Parents For Swimming Lessons At Bukit Batok Swimming Complex

Parents play a key role in children’s swimming experience. While children are trying their best to learn how to swim, parents should know how to help their children.

Do not expect your child to be able to swim soon after they are introduced to the water. It depends on each individual’s learning ability. As parent, you should focus on the long-term goal and avoid focussing on achievement and expecting quick results, as this may become counter-productive.

Don’t compare your child with others. Everyone has different learning ability.

Don’t be over ambitious about your child’s progress. Allow your child to gradually develop and improve at his or her own pace. There is no shortcut in learning to swim. Practice makes perfect. Every child needs regular lessons and constant training. Your child will be sure to improve when he attend lessons regularly.

If your child cries during the lesson, it doesn’t mean that your child is not ready for swimming lessons. Your child may be adjusting to the new surroundings or not used to being separated from parents. Give your child some time and let him or her develop confidence. Very soon, your child will be able to enjoy swimming lessons in a totally safe and relaxed environment with us.

If your child accidentally swallows water during the lessons, don’t worry, as this is a learning process. Praise them for trying. Children need to be encouraged. By doing this, children will enjoy and will continue their swimming journey.
